Before you apply
Who can submit a film to CreatorsTV?
Any independent filmmaker with a finished project. We accept features, short films, documentaries, series, animation, unscripted and experimental work from filmmakers anywhere in the world, with the United States as our primary market.
Does it cost anything to apply for distribution?
No. Applying is free, and selection is entirely editorial. There is no submission fee and no reading fee.
Do I have to buy the Premiere Package to be distributed?
No. The Premiere Package is an optional upgrade offered to filmmakers after their film has been selected. It is never a condition of selection, and it is never required for an accepted film to receive distribution.
Does submitting my film transfer any rights?
No. Submitting a film for consideration transfers nothing. You keep ownership of your film.
How do I send my film?
You share a private screener link — Google Drive, Dropbox, Vimeo, Frame.io or WeTransfer. You never upload a film file to this website, and screener links and passwords are kept private.
Where can people watch films distributed by CreatorsTV?
The CreatorsTV channel is available on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, with more platforms coming. Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV are trademarks of their respective owners, and availability does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership.
What does CreatorsTV take?
CreatorsTV retains 5% of filmmaker transaction earnings, excluding applicable payment processing and third-party costs.
How long does review take?
Our programming team reviews every submission. CreatorsTV is curated, so not every film submitted is selected.
